Найчастіше їх все ще шукають фінансовий, телекомунікаційний і транспортний (таксі, доставка) сектори, гемблінг та великі інтернет-магазини. Але вакансій аналітика даних від середнього бізнесу теж стає більше. Різниця між дата- та бізнес-аналітиками полягає в тому, що дата-аналітик працює з даними, що надходять із різних джерел, а бізнес-аналітик працює з вимогами до продукту.

Перспективи кар’єри та зарплата

Кар’єрне зростання для дата-аналітика можливе як вертикальне (від джуна до керівника напряму аналітики), так і горизонтальне. Якщо цікаво працювати з трансформацією даних, то можна перейти на позицію Data Engineer. Якщо подобається працювати з логікою продукту — на посаду Product Owner чи Product Manager. Якщо цікаво працювати з Python чи machine learning, можна стати Data Scientist. Може здатися, що це те саме, що й уважність. Уважно можна написати код і перевірити всі дані, але в результаті метрики можуть суперечити одна одній.
